Iryna Karpenko
Owner & Director
Iryna is the founder, artistic director, and heart behind our studio. With over 15 years of experience in theater education and directing, she has dedicated her life to helping young people grow through the power of performance.
She opened her first studio in Ukraine 15 years ago and brought her passion to New York, where she founded our U.S. branch five years ago. Over the course of her career, Iryna has directed more than 100 productions, worked as a director for a major production company, and acted in numerous films and television projects in Ukraine.
Today, she leads our advanced acting program for teens (ages 11–15), guiding them through character development, emotional expression, and stage presence with both professionalism and deep care.
Her vision continues to shape a space where young actors find their voice, their courage, and their love for the arts.
Katerina Matlin
Mommy and Me Coach
Katerina is a talented musician, singer, songwriter, and passionate early childhood educator. She plays multiple musical instruments, writes her own songs, and brings creativity and warmth into every class.
As the creator of her own unique teaching method, Katerina leads the Mommy & Me program at Romeo & Juliet Art Studio, designed especially for babies, toddlers, and their moms.
Through music, movement, rhythm, and interactive activities, she helps little ones develop fine motor skills, coordination, creativity, and early communication abilities.
Katerina believes that music is a beautiful way to strengthen the emotional bond between parents and children. Her classes create a loving, supportive environment where families can connect, grow, and make precious memories together.
Anastasiia Andriichuk
Teacher of vocals, piano & dance
Anastasiia is a versatile and passionate teacher of vocals, piano, and dance. With a strong background in both music and ballroom dancing, she brings rhythm, energy, and joy to every lesson.
She studied ballroom dance for over 10 years and graduated from a specialized dance academy with a diploma. She also completed her education at a music school, and now shares her love for singing and playing piano with young students.
At our studio, Anastasiia teaches children ages 5 to 15. Whether it's a modern choreography class, a ballroom routine, or a vocal warm-up at the piano, she inspires confidence, discipline, and creativity in every child she works with. As a professional musician and member of the Ukrainian band Sounds Good, she brings real-world experience into her teaching, inspiring students with her passion for music.
Her students don’t just learn — they fall in love with music and movement.
Anna Delove
Acting Coach
Anna is a passionate acting instructor with a strong educational background and professional experience in theater and film.
She holds a university degree and has completed additional acting training at a professional acting school in New York City. Her experience includes theatrical techniques, stage performance, and acting in American film productions.
At Romeo & Juliet Art Studio, Anna combines her professional knowledge with a creative and supportive teaching approach. She helps students build confidence, overcome shyness, develop communication skills, and express themselves through acting.
Anna believes that acting is more than performing — it’s about discovering your potential, finding your voice, and learning to shine both on and off the stage.
Mariana Naumova
Art Teacher
Mariana is a talented and dedicated art instructor with a passion for creativity and teaching. She has been an important part of Romeo & Juliet Art Studio for over five years, inspiring young artists and helping them discover their creative potential.
As an accomplished artist, Mariana has participated in various art exhibitions, where her paintings have received awards and recognition.
With her warm personality and natural ability to connect with children, Mariana creates a welcoming and encouraging environment where every student feels comfortable expressing themselves.
She believes that art is more than just painting — it’s a way for children to develop imagination, build confidence, explore their individuality, and bring their creative ideas to life.
